PAUDPedia: Journal of Early Childhood Education and Development is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the advancement of scientific knowledge, pedagogical innovation, and holistic development paradigms in early childhood. The journal provides a premier academic forum for the dissemination of rigorous empirical research, macro-level theoretical frameworks, and multidisciplinary studies focusing on children from birth to age eight. Recognizing that the formative years are critical to lifelong cognitive, social-emotional, and physical trajectories, PAUDPedia aims to bridge the gap between developmental science, educational policy, and classroom practice, fostering systemic improvements in early childhood ecosystems globally.

Scope and Topics

The journal welcomes high-quality original research, longitudinal studies, and systematic reviews that offer profound insights into early childhood dynamics. The scope encompasses, but is not limited to, the following thematic areas:

  • Pedagogy & Early Childhood Curriculum: Innovative instructional designs, play-based learning models, literacy and numeracy acquisition, digital learning in early years, and inclusive education strategies.

  • Child Development & Neuroeducation: Cognitive, socio-emotional, behavioral, and motor development, neurodevelopmental insights applied to learning, and early childhood mental health.

  • Parenting, Family, & Community Engagement: Home-school partnerships, parenting styles, family literacy, community-based early childhood interventions, and cross-cultural child-rearing practices.

  • Policy, Advocacy, & Institutional Management: Early childhood care and education (ECCE) policy analysis, teacher professional development, curriculum standards, and the economics of early childhood education.

Publication Frequency

PAUDPedia is published semi-annually (2 issues per year), released systematically in June and December. The journal utilizes a structured electronic publishing pipeline to ensure the timely and continuous dissemination of validated academic findings to the global community.

Peer Review Process

To maintain the highest thresholds of scientific validity and ethical excellence, PAUDPedia enforces a strict Double-blind Peer Review protocol. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial evaluation for scope alignment, structural compliance, and originality. Qualified submissions are subsequently assigned to a minimum of two independent, external peer reviewers with specific expertise in early childhood education and developmental psychology. The final decision regarding publication rests with the Editor-in-Chief, guided by reviewer consensus.

Mission Statement

The mission of PAUDPedia is to cultivate a transformative global dialogue on early childhood education and developmental systems by providing an unrestricted, high-impact open-access platform. The journal is committed to empowering educators, developmental psychologists, researchers, and policymakers with evidence-based insights necessary to optimize early learning environments, champion children's rights, and build sustainable foundations for future generations.
