Scope and Topics

The journal welcomes original research articles, innovative instructional case studies, and systematic literature reviews that contribute significantly to physical and health education practices. The scope encompasses, but is not limited to, the following thematic areas:

  • Physical Education Pedagogy & Didactics: Innovative teaching strategies, curriculum development, motor skill acquisition, game-centric learning models, and authentic assessment frameworks in school settings.

  • Sport Learning & Athletic Development: Youth sports coaching methodologies, motor learning and control, performance analysis in educational sports, and the psychological dimensions of school sports participation.

  • Health Education & Wellness Promotion: School-based health interventions, nutritional literacy, physical literacy frameworks, preventative healthcare education, and the mitigation of sedentary behaviors in children and adolescents.

  • Inclusive Physical Activity & Adaptive Pedagogy: Adapted physical education (APE) for diverse learners, cultural inclusivity in sports education, and gender parity paradigms within school physical activities.
